Ambrosia : In Greek mythology, this is the food (or sometimes drink) of the gods that grants longevity or immortality to anyone who consumes it. It was typically brought to Mount Olympus by doves (Matria Atena's symbol). Amrita : A Sanskrit term from Hindu and Buddhist traditions meaning "immortality" or "not-death". It is the nectar of the gods, often associated with the "churning of the ocean" ( Sa mudra Manthana ) myth where it was sought by both gods and demons.
