Egypt's rope symbol. Eternity

There is much debate and speculation on the rope symbol (Egyptian hieroglyphs). Some claim it is the double helix of DNA.

It is read as HE, and originally it was HAT, meaning 8.

And it is a more complex symbol for 8.

It may be associated with the infinity symbol or an analemma. In fact, it means eternity in Egyptian.

HAT became HE  (transliteration) in Coptic. It became EIGHT in English (via Saxon for both).

Secret symbolism in iconography
