 The Quaternary glaciation began around 2.58 million years ago and has been characterized by repeated cycles of glacial and interglacial periods.

2.58mya = 25772 x 100 great years. 

I wonder if there are any references to this in old texts.  Nothing from the present ''civilisation''. I mean the old civilisation that came from Matria Esh, which had proper science and records. 

100 is SATA or SUTA (ST, possibly even translated as Seth).
