The Sun's declination. Cancer - the Summer Solstice and Capricorn - the Winter Solstice

 Summer Solstice = the Sun conjunct Cancer 0. Declination 23 26 North

Winter Solstice = the Sun conjunct Capricorn 0. Declination  23 26 South

The Tropic of Cancer is located at 23° 26' North of the equator. 

The Tropic of Capricorn is located at 23°26′ South of the equator.

Spring Equinox = the Sun conjunct Aries 0° . Declination 0° .

Autumn Equinox = the Sun conjunct Libra 0° . Declination 0° . 

Terra's  AXIAL TILT is not  constant; it fluctuates slightly over long periods, with a cycle of about 41,000 years, varying between 22.1° and 24.5°, according to the British Geological Survey and 22.1 and 24.5 degrees according to NASA.

The last time the tilt was at 24.5 degrees was roughly 10,000 years ago, and the next time it will be at that angle is in about 31,000 years.

Cancer and Capricorn, along with Orion and Sagittarius are marked on the Dendera zodiac (see blog posts on this topic). 

Orion(the equivalent is Gemini)= Winter Solstice point for Matria Esh, therefore the MC, who rules  -MATRIA. 

The equivalent for Saggitarius is clear on the Dendera zodiac, marked by star Atria, which is 180 degrees  (opposite) from Bellatrix.
