''Sat'' was the feminine form, but once the old language losts its ''-at'' fem particle, and ''-at'' became ''-a'', ''sat'' -- daughter -- became ''sa'' - identical to ''son''.
SA MAT > SE+ MIT
suffix ''-ic'' is a diminutive particle.
The plural would have been ''si'' - which can be found in ''Syria'' (sons/children of Ria, indicating when they appeared - the same timeline). ''Se'' seems to be a feminine form which was extended to include males, too.
SA MAT > SEMITIC refers to the AGE OF MAT = ORION.
When was that? When Bellatrix to Sirius was conjunct Aries 0.
From 7,500 years ago (Septuagint's beginning, the first day of ''Creation'') to Anno Mundi 1 - c.5,800 years ago.
Their origin is in Cancer (Rock/Patre, Ptah, Aesir/Asare/star Sirius, etc), which was extended to include 7 more degrees before Sirius (c 7,000 to7,500 years ago).
That is why semitic populations have the MOON, ''ayahe'' in old Eur/Eg, as symbol and god.
With a Cancer origin, the MC- 10 would be the planet's AC - Aries, the LAMB. Aten. Satan.
In Yiddish (a Germanic language that appeared about 8 centuries ago- when it was first documented) 10 is pronounced "tsen", from ATEN.
In Hebrew (1948), the number ten is written as י (Yud) and is also pronounced as "Eser". Eser = Asare/Osiris/star Sirius - Aesir.
That would mean their AC is Libra (therefore Cancer =10th zodiac sign). It corresponds to the Ati zodiac sign (starting from star Spica) and the Grim Reaper figure on the Dendera zodiac.
That was the Great Year 33.9 for Matria Esh - when the Dendera timeline ended. The Coptic calendar also seems frozen when Thout 1 (Spica = Ati> Tut) was conjunct Virgo 18 (that is the actual entry into the Virgo constellation, NOT the zodiac sign). That was about 36 degrees of precession ago, so it was during 33.10 (Great Year 33, Age of Virgo).
Currently, it is 33.11 for Matria Esh (where they can never go).
In Syrian Arabic (Levantine dialect), the number 10 is pronounced as ''ashara''. Asare/Sare/Osiris - star Sirius. Like in the previous case, for Sirius?Cancer to be 10 => 1 = Libra (the Grim Reaper figure in the Dendera zodiac).

Ati/Spica was on Virgo 3 about 51 degrees of precession ago.
Star Sirius was on the Universal MC -- Gemini 3-- 41 degrees of precession ago.
It is highly likely they reference this point (although Adam was born 2,300 years ago or so, star Mesarthim conjunct Aries 0).
Note: star Sirius was conjunct Capricorn over 13kya. Capricorn = Terra's MC.
