The Coptic Calendar - the Month of Mesori - Mesra or Misra

 The Coptic month of Mesori (also known as Mesra or Misra) corresponds to the period between August 7 and September 5 in the Gregorian calendar. It is the twelfth and final month of the Coptic calendar and is associated with the "Birth of Ra". 

Mesori or Mesra or Misra = MES + RA, the ''BIrth of Ra''. 

This should be Virgo (VIrgo Matria). 

The Coptic New Year falls on September 11 = Thout 1 (Ati/Spica 1). The Sun enters the constellation of Virgo, which is currently close to Virgo 18, when the Sun is on September 11. 


The Coptic month of Thout (also known as Tout or Tut) is the first month of the Coptic calendar, corresponding to September 11th to October 10th in the Gregorian calendar


Copts celebrate NEW YEAR on 11 September.

 Star ATRIA is opposite Bellatrix, so it is at 21 Sagittarius (but the entire Coptic calendar is severely off...as if frozen in time).
