The REPUBLIC statue - 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
"The Republic" by sculptor Daniel Chester French, which was a centerpiece of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
- Subject The statue is a female figure personifying the strength and ideals of the American Republic. It's often colloquially known as the "Golden Lady".
- Appearance The original was made of staff (a mix of plaster and jute fiber) over an iron frame and was entirely gilded in gold leaf.
- Symbolism She held a staff topped with a Phrygian (liberty, Dacian/Thracian cap) cap in her left hand and a globe surmounted by an eagle in her right.
- Fate The original statue was temporary and was destroyed by fire in 1896, shortly after the fair closed.
- Replica A smaller, permanent, 24-foot tall bronze replica (also known as the "Golden Lady") stands today in Chicago's Jackson Park, commissioned in 1918 to commemorate the fair's 25th anniversary.
The Globe with AQUILA ON TOP could be:
01 Aquila on MC = Aquila on Capricorn, and since they are conjunct, Capricorn conjunct Capricorn (the great alignment was exact c. 1,500 years ago, when the Dark Ages started). This seems to be the case, however the globe does not look like a royal orb, which really uses astrology in a more accurate manner, depicting the equator + ecliptic (and thus the MC association).
02. Aquila on AC = Aquila on Aries 0 (Horus am Akhet, correct transliteration: Harry/Horia am ECAT, Aquila on Aries 0).
