Zarya - ISS's first module

The International Space Station (ISS) was launched into space on November 20, 1998. The first module, Zarya, was put into orbit on that date, marking the beginning of the construction of the ISS.

Zarya translates to "dawn" or "sunrise" in Russian.

The etymology of word ''ZARYA''

SA + Ria.

Sa  =daughter or son or creation

Therefore Sa + Rya, Zarya = the creation of of RIA (MATRIA, Orion).
