Perihelion and aphelion
Perihelion
The point in an orbit closest to the Sun.
- General timing: January 2–5 (currently around January 3–4, varies slightly year to year)
- General distance: ~147.1 million km (91.4 million miles)
- Perihelion 2025: January 4, 2025, at 13:29 UTC (distance: 147,098,761 km)
- Sun's Position on January 4, 2025: 13°–14° Capricorn. Declination approximately-22.8° South
Aphelion
The point in an orbit farthest from the Sun.
- General timing: July 3–6 (currently around July 4–5)
- General distance: ~152.1 million km (94.5 million miles)
- Aphelion 2025: July 3, 2025, at 19:55 UTC (distance: 152,087,737 km)
- Sun's Position on July 3, 2025: 11° Cancer. Declination c +22.8° North
PERI, from PATRE, 4, Aesir, Apis Bull, Ptah, Rock/Rac/Rick/, etc = Cancer. The Summer Solstice Point is in Cancer = Patre, 4 (so the name comes from when Cancer was conjunct Capricorn, at the Winter Solstice point).
Unless.....Matria Esh -- Winter Solstice at 3 Gemini and then the perihelion at 20 Gemini. Gemini is marked on the Dendera zodiac and Gobekli Tepe. Orion 17 degrees, although Dendera indicates the zodiac sign starts with Bellatrix and ends with Sirius.
Ecliptic across Orion's Belt, possibly parallel in declination.
Possible axial tilt 10°
Taurus is the ONLY shared zodiac sign. The rest of the ecliptics do not match (different zodiac signs and declinations).
Virgo 3 + Pisces 3 = 0° declination for SunM.
Gemini 3 = Winter Solstice, lowest declination - 10° South (most likely).

Sun on Gemini 3 = May 24. declination 20, (but around 15 while in Taurus).
- Aldebaran (α Tauri): Declination: Approximately +16.5° -- matches Sun's declination in Taurus
- Sirius (α Canis Majoris): Declination: Approximately -16.7°.
Imagine the horns of a deer or bull that go in opposite directions in Sagittarius and Capricorn. They converge only in Taurus. Thus, the usage of horns—or the compass (Freemasons)—hints at that astrological aspect.
The symbolism aligns closely with the unique astronomical and esoteric framework for Matria Esh, where Taurus serves as the sole point of convergence or overlap between the two worlds' ecliptics. In this model, the ecliptics of Earth (Terra) and Matria Esh are misaligned except in Taurus, meaning the paths of the Sun (and visible planets) diverge elsewhere—creating a visual metaphor of "horns" branching or pointing in opposite directions from a shared base.
The V-shape of the Freemasonic compass perfectly mirrors the upward-opening form of horns—whether bull, deer antlers, or goat—symbolising divergence from a unified base.
This creates an inversion: what is "highest" on one world is near "lowest" on the other.
The ONLY point of convergence is TAURUS. The two zodiacs are conjunct and they are presented together at Dendera.
And THAT is wjy Djed Sus sits to Matria's left in the altar icon of Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, Vatican/Rome. TAURUS is to Her left. What is left of Orion (Matria)? Taurus - ruled by VENUS, the Morning Star (Rev 22.16).
Taurus is the singular point of ecliptic/declination convergence between the two worlds, with Sun/SunM paths aligning closely only there (e.g., Aldebaran at ~+16.5° as a shared marker, evoking similar mid-range declinations around 15–20° of Terra's Sun).
Gemini 3 = the lowest declination of SunM. 2 cows/bulls frame ORION (Matria). So Taurus and Cancer are a MIRROR because declinations are the same for Matria Esh in Taurus plus Cancer (Aesir, from star Sirius).
This creates a mirror symmetry: Taurus and Cancer as dual "bulls/cows" bracketing Orion, with matching declinations in their zones on Matria Esh (aligning via Orion -Sirius path).
Sopdet is correctly transliterated as Sa Pedat (Son's leg and is likely star Saiph). Sare = Sirius in Egyptian. Saka or Sah = Orion,

- 0° Capricorn = Winter Solstice (shortest day in Northern Hemisphere)
- 0° Cancer = Summer Solstice (longest day in Northern Hemisphere)
All traditions observe 3° Cancer/Capricorn.
The Last Glacial Maximum peaked between 26,500 and 20,000 years ago, with the coldest global climate and lowest sea levels around 23,000–21,000 years ago. That was the 8th Age of Aquarius and Capricorn = Winter Solstice Point.
The Black Sea Deluge (Noah's flood) = Holocene Climatic Optimum ( 8,200 – 5,600 years ago) = the 8th Age of Cancer (7,000 to 10,000 years ago). That was the PEAK OF HEAT and it is marked in myths (Phaethon refers to this timeline). The Age of Cancer = Summer Solstice Point.
Capricorn conjunct Aries 0 = Winter for the Great Year = PEAK COLD.
Cancer conjunct Aries 0 = Summer for the Great Year = PEAK HEAT.
