The Old Calendar

The old calendar is STILL IN USE in some regions ,such as Persia.

The Persian New Year, known as Nowruz (meaning "new day"), begins at the exact astronomical moment of the spring equinox = Sun on Aries 0. In 2026, this occurred on Friday, March 20, at 10:45:59 AM IRST (Tehran time)

Exact Moment: Unlike the Gregorian New Year, which begins at midnight, Nowruz begins at the precise second the sun crosses the celestial equator.

The calendar is unrelated to any current religion and it is based on the OLD CALENDAR used by Matria Atena Herself.

Zoroastrian from SARE (Zare is also ECAT/Horizon, so it has been in use since Sirius was on the ECAT = Aries 0 - c 7800 years ago).

Interestingly, while the Islamic world later used the Arabic name Al-Shi'ra, the Persian culture kept Tir/Tishtar alive through their calendar and Zoroastrian traditions, completely independent of religious shifts.

Al-Shi'ra  - CANCER (Moon) + SUMMER SOLSTICE POINT.
