The Hart (Stag): The central figure is a "hart," an adult male deer. This is a traditional heraldic symbol for Hertfordshire and is a visual pun (or "canting arms") on the county's principal town, Hertford ("Hart-ford")

hart = heart =  ab in ancient Egyptian (iabiaa = a iubi in Ro, to love)  (ab - Ra - Ham).

deer = pun. Dear (love related).
