Symbolism: Lady Justice holds a sword in her right hand to represent the power of justice, and a pair of balance scales in her left hand to represent fairness and truth.

Unlike many traditional personifications of Lady Justice, this specific statue is not blindfolded. Her maidenly form is intended to represent that justice itself is open and unconcealed.

The Lady Justice statue at the Old Bailey stands on a large, gilded globe which represents the universal reach and authority of justice across the world.

The base of the globe is surrounded by stylized acanthus leaves. Acanthus leaves symbolize enduring life, immortality, and rebirth or the opposite in other traditions.

Acanthus mollis  - Bear's Breeches, Bear's Britches, Bearsfoot  - Ursa Major?

Tyical rubbish aside, that is Matria -- Virgo most likely -- holding the scales of Libra. Virgo conjunct Libra - aspect still ongoing, but separating. Mat -- Matria -- Judging.
