Maximum and Minimum Axial Tilt

The Earth reached its last maximum axial tilt of 24.5° in the year 8,700 BCE (roughly 10,726 years ago). , and it will reach its next minimum axial tilt of 22.1° around the year 11,800 CE (roughly 9,774 years from now).

The Earth takes approximately 41,000 years to shift from its maximum tilt down to its minimum tilt and rock back up again.

Current Tilt (23.44°):  

The total variance of the obliquity shift is exactly 2.4 degrees.
