The daylight difference is only about 1 hour+/- from 0 declination to 10 North/South for 45 North latitude.  

 Terra - winter solstice at 45° N drops to a brutal 21.6° at noon, combined with 8.5-hour days.

On ME - winter solstice at 35.0° with  10.6 hours of daylight. (Close to Cairo, Egypt around Oct 16)

 

Terra's 45° N lat summer solstice  68.4° for nearly 15.6 hours a day

ME summer solstice 55.0° and 13.3 hours daylight.

10-degrees North/South Sun declination on Terra:

February 23 to April 19

August 25 to October 19

The standard rate drops about 6°C for every 1000 meters of elevation


Not to mention that around 30 North lat,  we have warm weather all year around.
Our wheat crops are harvested  30 days after Sun's 0 declination at Virgo 3 = At Libra 3, the sun’s declination is c. 3° North. (See Dendera zodiac entries).
