Eyes Wide Shut Symbolism

In the film, this symbol on the throne is widely interpreted as a reference to high-level power structures, specifically Freemasonry.

 The Scottish Rite: The double-headed eagle is the primary emblem of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, where it represents the 32nd and 33rd degrees.

The "Third Rome" Connection

The double-headed eagle on the throne also reaches back to the Byzantine and Russian Empires (Rome v2 and v3), 
In the film, this suggests the group sees itself as the modern inheritors of that absolute imperial authority
 the RED CLOAK = BAAL.  
OSIRIS/Caesar/Sare = the fire dragon or the red dragon (even Basques have this myth). 

BAAL on the throne (MC = Capricorn, the GOAT that appears in  both the film and the ball) = SIRIUS (Cancer) conjunct Capricorn. 

Capricorn (The Goat): Historically ruled by Saturn (Chronos), representing the "Lord of Time," structure, and the ultimate earthly hierarchy. The "Goat" mask at the Rothschild ball and the ritualistic elements in Eyes Wide Shut emphasize this Saturnian, "top-down" power.
 RHEA (ORION) married to TIME = Orion conjunct CAPRICORN = 12800 years ago! 

THE BALL FEATURES A BABY JESUS on the MENU, on the table ..FOOD.  EU KA (energy of) WRIST (blood + flesh). Thus blood drinking (the wine is a mere symbol for the real blood) + flesh eating (cannibalism).
