 Here are three undeniable historical truths that were officially denied or censored for decades: 

The Katyn Massacre (Covered up for 50 years)

• The Official Lie: In 1940, 22,000 Polish officers were executed. The Soviet Union officially blamed Germany for the atrocity, and the Western Allies largely stayed quiet to keep Stalin as an ally.
• The Truth: It was entirely orchestrated by the Soviet NKVD. The USSR officially denied this until 1990, when Mikhail Gorbachev finally released the declassified execution orders.

Operation Northwoods (The Rejected False Flag)

• The Official Lie: For decades, the US government maintained that it only engaged in direct, justified military defense strategies during the Cold War.
• The Truth: In 1962, the Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on a plan to commit acts of terrorism on US soil (blowing up ships, hijacking planes, and staging riots) to blame Cuba and start a war. President Kennedy rejected it, and the documents were hidden until declassification in 1997.
  

The Fake Drone Crash: They planned to duplicate a real US civilian airliner, paint it identically, and fill it with fake passengers (using aliases). They would switch the real plane with a drone mid-flight, blow up the drone over Cuba, and claim innocent American tourists were murdered

Blowing Up US Ships: They proposed blowing up a US Navy ship in Guantanamo Bay and blaming Cuba. The documents explicitly state that a casualty list in US newspapers would cause a "helpful wave of national indignation."

An Urban Terror Campaign: They suggested launching a literal campaign of terrorism in Miami, Florida, and Washington, D.C. This included exploding real bombs in cities, arresting fake Cuban agents, and releasing fabricated documents to "prove" Cuba did it 

The most alarming part is that Operation Northwoods wasn't a rogue idea by a low-level agent. It was officially signed and approved by Lyman Lemnitzer, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and presented directly to Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara

The Official Lie: On August 4, 1964, the US Pentagon announced that North Vietnamese torpedo boats had launched a second unprovoked attack on the USS Maddox in international waters, heavily escalating the Vietnam War. 

The Truth: Declassified NSA documents later proved the second attack never happened. US sailors were actually shooting at false radar blips caused by bad weather, but the administration used the fake event to rush into war.
