What is the real etymology of ROMANIA?
Romania, from ''Ra Manat'' (old European/Egyptian).
RA is self explanatory, that is MATRIA (whose name contains a variant of the name - Ria, found in Anatolia, etc).
MANAT = old European/Egyptian. Feminine form (particle AT). MANAT means ''eternal''. When the old language lost its ''-t'' particle from the feminine form, ''MANAT'' became ''MANA''.
so RA MANA means ''RA ETERNAL'' = ''Light Eternal''.
It is from this that the nouns '' moon'' and ''man/men'' formed.
So, we have the form RAMAN > Roman explained.
What about ''-ia''? That means ''FIRST'' in the old language.
You know, the same number ONE in all European languages.
For short ..FIRST ETERNAL RA or FIRST ETERNAL LIGHT.
