The Antikythera mechanism

 The mechanism existed long before humans existed.

Matria Atena invented it and used it for astrology and all myths credit her, under different names, for absolutely all aspects of civilisation. This includes all technology. Which is also far older than humans.

It is an astrological tool. NOT astronomical.

No one cared for that. 

 Several mechanisms claimed to be astronomical tools are astrological tools and have been used by astrologers to make complex calculations fast and error free (as much as possible). 

It is an ALIEN tool. Humans never invented anything.
