Sothic cycle

 

The Egyptian Sothic cycle was based on the star Sirius (called Sothis by the ancient Egyptians).
(Ancient Egyptian: spdt or Sopdet, 'Triangle'; Ancient Greek: Σῶθις, Sō̂this). The SOTHIC CYCLE is a period of 1460 Sothic years in the ancient Egyptian calendar.
THis is what we are told, but Sa PEDAT (and not spdt or Sopdet) means ''the son's leg'', ''ped'' = leg in Romance languages.
However, Sothis is derived from ''Sata'' - the snake in old European/Egyptian.
Two zodiac signs linked to snakes -  HAM + MAN. Capricorn + Cancer. Winter Solstice point + Summer Solstice point.
The snake symbol appears on the Dendera zodiac, and it is near Orion. The symbols are read as '' Sata Esh'', ''The Snake's Garden'' (meaning planet, world in this context. ''Esh'' means ''garden'').



Sirius is indeed one snake - the red one - Asare/Sare/Caesar (Osiris).
The rhino (Monoceros, the univorn) is Ptah, the blue snake.
