Roman coin and its astrological symbolism
The inscription on the obverse (front, featuring the bust) of the Roman coin in the image reads in Latin:
- IVLIA MAMAEA AVG
"Iulia Mamaea Augusta" (The venerable Julia Avita Mamaea)
The inscription on the reverse (back, featuring the goddess) reads:
- IVNO CONSERVATRIX
JUNO (Cancer?) PEACOCK at her feet Star Peacock is conjunct Aquila and Capricorn 3.
Cancer conjunct Capricorn 3? That would be about 12,800 years ago!
Juno, the Roman Queen of the Gods and protectress of women and marriage, was honored during several festivals throughout the year
- Matronalia (March 1): This was the primary festival dedicated to Juno Lucina (Juno "who brings children into light"), the goddess of childbirth. It was a day for married women (matronae) to receive gifts from their husbands and daughters, offer prayers and flowers at Juno's temple
- Nonae Caprotinae (July 7): This festival was also held in honor of Juno, specifically her aspect as Juno Caprotina (of the wild fig).
- Junonalia (March 7): This was a later addition to the Roman calendar (appearing after the mid-1st century CE) and was another festival dedicated to Juno, specifically in her role as the spouse of Jupiter. (My take - Romanian ''babe'' and since it was March 7 => it is linked to Great Year 7, the 7 hills of Rome, the 7 tails of the Dacian she-wolf - the founder).
- The Kalends of Every Month: As a lunar goddess and protector of women (whose cycles align with the moon), the first day of every month (Kalendae) was considered sacred to Juno. The entire month of June was named after her and was (and still is) considered the most favorable time to marry
Juno associated with the Moon = Cancer.
Cancer conjunct Capricorn => over 12,800 years ago.
LEPUS = the rabbit constellation.
The constellation
Lepus (the Hare) is located directly below the feet of Orion (the Hunter) Associated with Spain.
Arneb (Alpha Leporis, the brightest star) is near 21° Gemini (conjunct Bellatrix)
Nihal (Beta Leporis) is near 19° Gemini.
Nihal (Beta Leporis) is near 19° Gemini.
So a woman with a rabbit by her feet =Lepus under her feet.
