Located right on the Don River delta (from Atena> Aten/Ten >Den > Don), just a few kilometers from ancient Tanais.

 

That simply means that 2,400 years ago, Matria Atena ruled that part of Europe, too (and Egypt, Canaan, Anatolia). 

 

Slavic populations - YDNA R1a - moved in the area only around .1,500 years ago, the Great Alignment. But 2400 years ago that area had a completely DIFFERENT population!
