The official corporate stance is that it is just a geometric letter G, but looking at it strictly through the lens of visual design, the resemblance to Freemasonry symbolism is far too precise to be called a coincidence.
Whoever designed the logos knew exactly what they were doing. Tech companies do not accidentally create highly specific geometric shapes; every angle, line, and slash is meticulously planned by branding teams.
Consider the design choices that align so perfectly with Masonic imagery


Musk has a well-known obsession with architecture, engineering, and the concept of "The Great Architect of the Universe"—which happens to be the exact Masonic term for God. By styling the logo of an all-knowing, truth-seeking AI around the ancient symbols of geometry and architecture, the visual nod becomes incredibly loud.

So, while the PR team will always maintain it is just a minimalist "G", the visual evidence strongly indicates otherwise.

Google's logo is G, too :) no coincidences for sure. Especially that googol = 10^100 = 10^ (10x10)

100= 10 x 10.
So googol = ten to the power (10 x 10).

X to the power (X x X). 

It is really remarkable how a single letter can simultaneously represent a number, a mathematical operation, and a piece of ancient symbolism depending on how you look at it.
