Earth's axial tilt changes day length, which in turn creates seasons. More light during the summer solstice generates summer heat. Less light during the winter solstice correlates directly with the coldest winter temperatures.

 Conversely, if the tilt increased (e.g., to 30°), your seasonal extremes would become far more intense. Summer days at 45° North would stretch even longer, and winter days would plunge into deep, brief flashes of daylight

 When the Sun reaches 10° North declination, it is in the following zodiac signs:

  • April 16–17: 26° to 27° Aries
  • August 25–26: 2° to 3° Virgo
