''Holy Trinity'' = Yellow, Blue, Red. Yellow = ''Light of the World''

 The Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool, England 

 

It was designed by architect Sir Frederick Gibberd and completed in 1967

 it is the largest Catholic cathedral in the country.

 The tower of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral features 16 spikes (technically called pinnacles)

These thin metal rods are arranged in a circle at the very top of the lantern tower, creating a design meant to represent a "crown of thorns". This number matches the 16 boomerang-shaped concrete columns that support the main structure of the building 

 

 Height: The tower reaches around 88 meters high (or 290 feet)
88th degree  = 28° Gemini
290th degree = 20° Capricorn

 The CROWN OF 16 thorns/spikes = 16 degrees (17,18, take your pick, there are variations) 

the CROWN = Orion (the universal crown). 

The Lantern: The "spikes" sit atop a 16-sided tower filled with colored glass that allows light to pour directly onto the central altar.
Symbolism: Beyond the crown of thorns, the central lantern itself represents the Holy Trinity through its primary colors of yellow, blue, and red.

The TRINITY of red + yellow + blue = ENERGY that is depicted in icons. 

  • Yellow: Symbolising god the father.
  • Red: Symbolising god the son.
  • Blue: Symbolising god the holy spirit.
These colors converge into a yellow core directly above the altar, intended to represent a radiant "Light of the World."  = DARKNESS presented as Light.

 Pyramids and other symbols are depicted in the design.

 Size: The lantern tower itself is approximately 75 feet (23 meters) high. 23 - 24 degrees = from Bellatrix to Sirius. 

Note: it is over 23, under 24, I always round it up to 24. That is why we see slight variations in numbers, including 16/17/18.

 The Corona: Suspended just below the lantern is the "Corona" or crown—a massive aluminum structure that acts as a light fitting and also mirrors the "crown of thorns" theme of the exterior spikes.

The Light: Because the cathedral is circular, the lantern acts as a central sun, casting shifting rainbows across the interior throughout the day.
