Heraldry: The Rule of "Dexter" and "Sinister"

 In historical heraldry, the direction an eagle faces is not random; it follows specific rules of orientation that distinguish its meaning.

 The Rule of "Dexter" and "Sinister"

In heraldry, "left" and "right" are defined from the perspective of the eagle behind the shield, not the viewer 

 Dexter (Eagle's Right / Viewer's Left): This is the traditional, "noble" direction. In European tradition, looking to the right often symbolizes following established order or continuity. 

Sinister (Eagle's Left / Viewer's Right): This direction was historically viewed as the "sinister" or opposite side

 In fact, one direction should depict PRECESSION (see ''Dendera zodiac'' entries).
